State Police Troop C Weekend Blotter
Arrests for Friday through Sunday in the area, including Mansfield.

Mansfield
Jan. 26
Stacy Bergeron, 27, of 486 Brooklyn Terrace, Scotland, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, state police said.
Troopers were called to Kphl's at 3:27 p.m. to investigate a larceny complaint and she was taken into custody, state police said.
Ashford
Jan. 24
Joshua Davis, 5, of 29 Old Willimantic Rd., Chaplin, was charged with the improper use of a marker, an insurance violation, a license/registration violation, evading, driving under the influence, a turning violation and third-degree burglary, state police said.
At 10:16 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the area near 73 Squaw Hollow Rd. - Route 44 - fore a reported single motor vehicle accident, state police said.
State police said the driver had fled the scene on foot the driver was subsequently located by police dog Axel inside a vehicle inside a residential garage.
The homeowners were not aware he was hiding in the garage, state police said.

Douglas Morrison, 59, of Ashford, was charged with DUI and a license/registration violation after a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. on Pompey Hollow Road, state police said.
He was found passed out in the driver's seat of his vehicle at Cumberland Farms, according to a state police report.
Stafford

Sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., someone broke into a Gold Street residence, state police said. Some items were taken, state police said.

Willington
Jan. 25
Thomas Grant, 51, was charged with DUI, and failure to use headlights after a traffic stop on Route 32, state police said.
He was stopped at 8:17 p.m., state police said.
Ellington
Jan. 25
Jessica Juliano, 22, of 45 Wellman Rd., Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft by transfer and third-degree identity theft, state police said.
At 5 p.m., she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on West Road in Ellington, state police said. Troopers realized there was an active warrant for her arrest and she was taken to the Troop C barracks, state police said.
Jan. 26
Dominic Paternostro, 33, of 30 Cooper Dr., Glastonbury, was charged with violating a protective order, state police said.
Troopers were dispatched to Westview Terrace at 9:04 a.m. for a disturbance, state police said.
