UConn Basketball's Wolf Suspended From Team Following Arrest

The 7'1" center from Goettingen, Germany was involved in an "on-campus incident" early Monday, according to the university.

University of Connecticut Men's Basketball player Enosch Wolf was suspended from the team Monday following an on-campus arrest early this morning, according to the university's Athletic Communications office.

Wolf was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal trespass in the first degree and disorderly conduct, following a dispute at Hilltop Apartments in Storrs, according to a UConn Daily Campus report.

“We are aware of the situation concerning Enosch and we are taking the matter very seriously,” UConn head basketball coach Kevin Ollie said in a prepared statement. “He has been suspended from the team indefinitely, until the legal and university process is finalized," he said.

“I have spoken to the players on the team previously, and will continue to speak with them, about their conduct both on and off the basketball court," Ollie said, adding, "We have high expectations of our student-athletes at UConn, and I expect my players to live up to those standards.”

The university declined to comment further.

I read this article thinking I was going to read about a real wolf. Dumb me, I guess.
