UConn Professor Charged With Vandalizing Cars, Peeing In Public

Gabriel Fenteany, 46, of Vernon was arrested Monday for allegedly ripping the side-view mirrors off of six cars.

A University of Connecticut chemistry teacher was charged Monday with peeing in a parking lot and then ripping off the side-view mirrors of several high-end cars.

The Hartford Courant reports that Gabriel Fenteany, 46, of 125 South St, Vernon, allegedly peed in a Greenwich parking lot on Oct. 26 and then ripped off the side-view mirrors of a BMW, two Audis, two Lexuses and a Honda Civic. Fenteany is an associate professor at UConn, according to the newspaper.

He was arrested by UConn police Monday and charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
