Original Story:The has reported an attempted abduction in the area of Horsebarn Hill Road and Gurleyville Road in Storrs.
At 1:41 p.m., a male attempted to abduct a female. A gun was seen in the abductor's vehicle, according to the university's Web site.
The offender is described as a white male, 40-60 years of age with grey hair and camouflage clothing, according to the UConn Web site.
He is said to be driving a newer-model silver Toyota or dark grey pickup with tonneau cover, according to the university.
The vehicle was last seen heading down Gurleyville Road, according to the UConn Web site.
