A Willimantic man who police said was seen walking out of a Mansfield home with a television was arrested Thursday in Willimantic.
Joshua Omar Sauri, 27, of 45 Gem Dr., Willimantic, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree larceny.
Mansfield Resident State Troopers were called to Holbrook Road in Willimantic Thursday to investigate a burglary complaint that originated at 149 Pleasant Valley Rd. in Mansfield. A resident of that address had arrived home to find Sauri walking off the back porch with her television, according to police. When Sauri was confronted by the woman who lived there, he replied "It's my TV and I bought it; now I'm leaving with it," according to a police report.

Sauri was subsequently arrested by Connecticut State Police and Willimantic Police.
Bond was set at $15,000. Sauri was scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court today, Sept. 27.
Police would neither confirm nor deny whether Sauri is considered a suspect in any past Mansfield burglaries.
