Romney Wins Mansfield GOP 2012 Primary

Here are the combined results of Mansfield's four polling stations.

 

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney took nearly 63 percent of the vote in Mansfield's Presidential Preference Primary of the Republican Party Tuesday.

Approximately 10.5 percent of all registered Republicans in Mansfield came out to vote; 144 ballots were cast.

The Town has 1,365 active registered Republicans, according to Republican Registrar Beverly Miela.

Romney scored primary victories in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware and Pennsylvania Tuesday, according to The Huffington Post. New York is expected to follow, The Huffington Post reported.
