Mansfield's Memorial Day Parade Set for Monday

Mansfield will honor the military with a parade and ceremony on May 28.

The Town of Mansfield will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 28 with a parade.

The parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Bassetts Bridge Road, continue north on 195, and down Cemetery Road where it will end at the new Mansfield Center Cemetery for a ceremony in honor of those who have died in service to the country. 

Veterans and active duty personnel are invited to lead the parade. Those marching, will meet on Bassetts Bridge Road in Mansfield Center at 8:30 a.m.

The public is invited to line the streets along the parade route to honor America’s service men and women.

Music will be provided by the and Bands. 

Organizers say in the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Mansfield Middle School gymnasium.
