Mansfield Voter Registration Information

Residents have until Oct. 30 to register in person to vote in Mansfield, and Oct. 23 to register by mail.

The Mansfield Registrar of Voters is reminding residents who wish to cast their ballot in the Nov. 6, 2012 general election, to make sure they're registered to vote.

Andrea Epling and Beverly Miela, Mansfield's Democratic and Republican registrars, respectively, stressed the importance of voter participation.

"It's important to help determine who your leaders will be on the local, state and national level," Miela said.

Epling added: "U.S. Senate, State Senate and U.S. Representative in Congress - these three races are locally very important."

The Mansfield Registrar of Voters Office, located at 4 South Eagleville Rd., is open Monday-Friday during Town Hall's normal operating hours.

In addition, the office will be open on Saturday, Oct. 20. from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. for the purpose of registering voters.

Oct. 30 is the last day to register before the Nov. 6 election.

A resident must have their mail-in application postmarked no later than Oct. 23, 2012.

The Mansfield Registrar of Voters Office will hold a limited registration session on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. for residents whose qualifications as to age, citizenship or residence was attained since the Oct. 30 cutoff date.
