The Town of Mansfield recently issued a proclamation in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Storrs Cemetery Association, Inc.
Mansfield Mayor Elizabeth Paterson, on behalf of the town council and the community, expressed her congratulations to the association.
"As I'm sure you all know, if we didn't have our boards and commissions, we would not function in this town, because there's no way we could pay to have everything done that all the volunteers in this town do," Paterson said.
"Thank you very much. We hope you will continue to serve us as well as you've served us in the past," she said.
