[UPDATED] Mansfield Community Center to Serve as Respite Center

The town will provide relief to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The Mansfield Community Center will continue to serve as a respite center Wednesday, Oct. 31 until 10 p.m.

The Mansfield Community Center will serve as a respite center Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m.

Residents may utilize the facility's showers and charging stations, and stop in for a sandwich, coffee and water.

Potable water stations will be set up outside the Center and Town Hall Tuesday beginning at 7:30 a.m.

If the need arises for an overnight shelter, the American Red Cross will open a regional shelter at E.O. Smith Regional High School.
