E.O. Smith High School 2013 SAT Scores Released

Take a look at E.O. Smith High students' performances on the 2013 SAT and AP tests.

Connecticut’s SAT data for the class of 2013 were released this week by the College Board showing that overall participation rates for public school students continue on an upward trend while also reflecting an increasing diversity among test-takers. On the whole, students posted similar average scores from last year, with slight upticks in reading and writing.

At E.O. Smith, students who took the SAT in 2013 earned averages of 570 in critical reading, 569 in math and 560 in the writing section. A total of 247 students took the exams last year.

Statewide, the number of public school students taking the SAT in 2013 increased by 0.8 percent from 2012.  At 83 percent, Connecticut’s participation rate for public school students taking this college entrance exam ranks fourth highest in the nation.
