Mansfield Middle School Water Test Shows Presence of Bacteria

A routine water test indicated traces of coliform.

Mansfield Middle School Principal Jeffrey Cryan announced Monday that a routine water test at the school showed traces of contamination.

Cryan detailed the situation in an e-mail to parents, and said that a water test indicated that there were traces of coliform, a bacteria, in the water supply.

"We have notified students and staff members not to drink the water," Cryan said.
