School Thursday for Mansfield Public Schools, E.O. Smith

Students will attend classes for the first time this week following Hurricane Sandy.

Mansfield Public Schools and E.O. Smith Regional High School will resume classes, Thursday, Nov. 1, according to the Mansfield Board of Education Office and Bruce Silva, Superintendent of Region #19, respectively.

The E.O. Smith regional shelter will serve a hot meal to those without power from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. The shelter will close at 8 tonight. Those who are still in need of an overnight shelter will be directed by American Red Cross staff to other open shelters in Connecticut.
