A new shuttle bus service begins today, Nov. 28, that will run four times daily to and from the Storrs campus to the UConn Health Center’s Farmington campus. Its stops are located at 400 Farmington Ave., the Health Center’s Academic Entrance, and outside on Hillside Road in Storrs.

“Now more than ever faculty researchers, staff, and students on these two campuses are working in close collaboration in a variety of fields, which is critical to advancing our academic mission,” said UConn Provost Peter Nicholls, whose office sponsored the service. “Phone and email contact is useful, but there is often no substitute for face-to-face communication or for working alongside a colleague or fellow student. This new service will help facilitate that.”

The shuttles arrive and depart between 7:50 a.m. and 5:05 p.m. Monday through Friday. For a full schedule, visit the Transportation Services website.

UConn faculty, staff, and students can use the service free of charge, but must show a UConn ID.
