Patch Clip: Goodwin Students Participate in International Walk to School Day

Mansfield students joined in the walk for a safer, healthier lifestyle and a cleaner environment.

Sixty Dorothy C. Goodwin Elementary School students hit the pavement Wednesday morning to take part in Goodwin's 3rd Annual International Walk to School Day.

"As your walking to school, thousands and thousands of children all over the world are walking to school right now," Goodwin Principal Debra Adamczyk told the participants.

Accompanied by parents, staff and Mansfield Resident State Troopers, students made the half-mile walk from Holinko Estates on Zygmunt Drive to their classes.

"The kids have so much fun," Adamczyk said. "They love this."
