The 2nd Annual Slutwalk UConn: A March to End Victim Blaming was held Friday on the Storrs campus.
Dozens of students joined the rally to spread the message that no one deserves to be the victim of sexual violence.
Residents are invited to join in the pledge:
I reject Rape Culture.
I believe that physical, emotional, and sexual violence against other human beings is not acceptable.
Sexual assault and rape should not be tolerated and I can make a difference in changing the way society thinks and speaks about violence.
I pledge to do whatever I can to stop sexual violence and victim blaming in our community and wherever I go, because I have had enough!
