Schedule Set for Open Meetings with UConn Provost Candidates

Members of the University of Connecticut community are encouraged to participate in the forums.

The schedule is now set for three open town hall forums with the finalists being considered for the position of provost and executive vice president at UConn. Members of the University community are encouraged to participate.

The schedule is:

Tuesday, Nov. 27, noon-1:30 p.m., Student Union Theatre
Candidate: Henry C. Foley, Ph.D.

Wednesday, Nov. 28, 10:30 a.m.-noon, Student Union Theatre
Candidate: Mun Y. Choi, Ph.D.

Thursday, Nov. 29, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Student Union Theatre
Candidate: David V. Rosowsky, Ph.D.

The forums will be live-streamed live to all campuses and will be available for viewing online at Provost Candidate Open Forum Link.

The provost is responsible for all academic initiatives and programs at UConn, and serves as the second-in-command and day-to-day leader for much of the institution, in collaboration with President Susan Herbst and her cabinet.

The finalists were selected by a 13-member search committee working with executive search firm Korn/Ferry International.
