Storrs resident Danny Carrero is a second-year medical student who was among the volunteers at a National Primary Care Week community health fair in Hartford last week.
National Primary Care Week’s mission is to provide communities with the opportunity to highlight the importance of primary care in the United States, while developing future leaders in their field of study, according to the event’s Web site.
