Storrs Resident Inducted into History Honor Society

The society promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.

A number of Eastern Connecticut State University students were recently inducted into Eastern's Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.

Noah Goldberg-Bohr '14 of Storrs, was one of the inductees.

Goldberg-Bohr's major is History and Social Science. The society promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.

The society recognizes students who have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours in history; have a minimum GPA of 3.1 in history; a cumulative GPA of 3.0; and are in the top 35 percent of their class.

Eastern Connecticut State University is the state's public liberal arts university and serves approximately 5,400 students each year on its Willimantic campus and satellite locations.
