Storrs Resident Receives Athletic Honors at Loomis Chaffee

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in Windsor, is a college preparatory school for grades 9-12.

The Loomis Chaffee School Athletics Department gathered recently with varsity student athletes, their parents, and coaches, to celebrate the accomplishments of Pelican teams this spring. Director of Athletics Bob Howe and other members of the Athletics Department bestowed honors upon Pelican athletes for their participation and dedication to varsity teams.

Benjamin Hiskes a senior from Storrs, was named as a Founders League Champion in Boys Track and Field for first place in the 4x400 relay.

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9-12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world. Since 1914, the school has offered educational opportunities for boys and girls regardless of religious or political beliefs, national origin, or financial resources. The school's 670 students represent 35 countries and 28 U.S. states.
