UConn Alumna Phylicia George Advances to 100M Hurdle Semifinals in Summer Olympics

George, from Markham, Ontario, is competing for Canada in the 2012 London Olympics.

Former athlete has advanced to the 100 meter hurdle semifinals for Canada in the 2012 London Olympics.

George, with a time of 12.83, will now compete in the 100m hurdle semifinals on Tuesday, August 7 at 2:15 p.m. U.S. EST, according to the official Olympics Web site. Finals will begin at 4 p.m.
