The Annual Region 19 - - Budget Referendum was passed by residents in the towns of Mansfield, Ashford and Willington Tuesday, May 8.
The following results have been verified by Region 19 Superintendent of Schools, Bruce Silva.
Question: "Shall the sum of $19,536,620 be appropriated for the operation and maintenance of the Regional School District Number 19 Public School System for the July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 fiscal year?"
Answer: Yes.

A cumulative vote from the towns of Mansfield, Ashford and Willington determined that the Regional School District 19 Budget Referendum passed Tuesday night.
Here are the numbers by town:
Mansfield:
- Yes 279
- No 112
Ashford:
- Yes 184
- No 117
Willington:
- Yes 180
- No 120
The total:
- Yes 643, or 64.8 percent of voters
- No 349, or 35.2 percent of voters
For the 2012-13 fiscal year, Mansfield will cover $9.5 million, Ashford will be responsible for $3.7 million and Willington will contribute $4.5 million.
