Dodging for Dollars

It’s time to get your game face on! Students at UCONN have put up the challenge to other students and members of the Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) community to face off in a dodgeball tournament. UCONN Greek Life and student organizations, members of the SOCT community, and local law enforcement are just some of the groups slated to compete in the fourth annual tournament.

The UCONN Office of Community Outreach is hosting “Dodging for Dollars” to benefit SOCT on Saturday October 29th  at the University of Connecticut Student Recreation Facility.  Each team must be co-rec with at least one female member on each team.  Four members will play at once with the option for up to 2  additional team members as alternates or substitutes. Trophies will be awards to the top finishers as well as prizes for the best team name and best dressed team.  Teams are also encouraged to generate pledges, with an award going to the top fundraising team.  Teams can register online and start fundraising today, visit: www.dodgingfordollars.weebly.com
