Deepen Your Practice

As a yoga student, you are constantly looking to advance your practice. You strive to perform more advanced postures, learn more history and philosophy, and grow body and mind awareness.

Unfortunately, there are no magical prescriptions—asana, meditations, or study—guaranteed to help you take it to the next level. Since yoga is an individual practice, each student has strengths and weaknesses to bring into balance before they can advance. Some will need to practice more postures, while the work of others will be more internal. No matter what you're working on, do it regularly and with care. You'll develop a deeper understanding of yoga—and yourself.
