BBQ, Bluegrass & Beer Chef to Farm Dinner

Enjoy world-class cuisine with a unique dining experience and dancing to live bluegrass music under the stars at Graywall Farms in Lebanon this Friday, August 16th

The lush open fields surrounding Graywall Farms, a member farm of The Farmer’s Cow, offers the perfect setting to enjoy a five-star dining experience with Max’s Chef to Farm Dinnerseries. Named one of the top five farm dinners in the country by Fodor’s Travel.

Dinner begins at 6:30pm with a beverage reception with The Farmer’s Cow and the Chesmer family. Guests will be invited to tour the farm, see the fields and learn about life on a working dairy farm.

Tours conclude in a tented area where tables dressed in white linen and candlelight offer a view of the al fresco kitchen. Each dinner is cooked from scratch and showcases the best freshly harvested local food and produce. The menu for the evening is inspired creation of Chef Scott Miller. It includes delicacies such as Royal Red Shrimp Summer Rolls, Chicken Fried Broad Brook Steak and Tandoor Roasted Striped Bass.

The Farmer’s Cow and Graywall Farms are pleased to host this great event. To make the experience even more memorable, guests can enjoy and wagon rides through the fields and live Bluegrass music performed by Barn'd Out before dinner.

A portion of the proceeds from the event at Graywall Farms will benefit the Connecticut Farmland Trust (CFT), a statewide conservation organization dedicated solely to permanently protecting Connecticut's farmland.

Seating is limited. Visit http://www.maxcheftofarm.com/ to purchase tickets or more information.
