Erland Construction Donates to Mansfield Food Pantry

Contributions were made for the holidays.

Erland Construction, Inc., the contractor selected to build Storrs Center, recently coordinated a food drive to support the Mansfield food pantry.

Late last month, Erland employees delivered nonperishable items and a monetary donation to the Town's Human Services Department, according to a press release.

“As the General Contractor for the new Storrs Center development in Mansfield, we have a really strong presence in the community right now and we felt a strong desire to give back during these difficult times,” Eric Greene, Erland vice president and regional manager, said in a prepared statement.

“The Erland employees were so generous, enabling us to give a substantial donation to the pantry. I’m very happy with the outcome,” he said.

Storrs Center is intended to be a mixed-use town center located adjacent to the .

When completed, the $220 million project would give Mansfield new retail, restaurant, office and residential development.
