The Mansfield Downtown Partnership and the will host Mansfield's 6th Annual Winter Fun Day on Saturday, Feb. 4.
The event, scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m., will be held at the .
Activities include:
- Ice skating;
- Horse-drawn wagon rides;
- Storytelling;
- Crafts
- Ice sculptures; and
- A cappella performances by groups
Local naturalists Sue and Tom Harrington will also lead “Feet, Hooves, and Paws – Winter Animal Tracking for People of All Ages” at 1 p.m.

Hotdogs and other refreshments will be sold by Stan’s Curbside Grill and Mansfield's Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) will provide free hot chocolate.
While the event is free, residents and their guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items for the Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic. Special requests include canned fruit, cereal, and canned stew, chili and ravioli.
