Altnaveigh Inn & Restaurant
Altnaveigh Inn & Restaurant is located on Route 195 and only minutes away from the University of Connecticut campus. A restored 1730s home, it features three dining rooms that can be rented for private events such as weddings or business meetings. The menu changes seasonally and there are specials daily. The owners Douglas and Gail Parks chose to keep the name Altnaveigh, which means "hill-top" in Gaelic, when they purchased the property in 2004. The inn also includes two guest rooms available for overnight visitors.
