Named for the benefactors of the University of Connecticut, Charles and Augustus Storrs, Chuck & Augie's offeres food for late nights and delayed morning starts. This campus restaurant brews fair trade coffee and is happy to accept campus points. The extensive menu includes a variety of dishes, including Spicy Pad Thai, Korean BBQ Beef with Kimchi Rice, Beer Battered Fish and Chips, Pistahio Chicken Salad and Smoked Turkey Panini with Melted Cheddar. Desserts are also available, including Chaugie's Gourmet Cupcakes and Brownie Sundaes a la Mode. Chuck and Augie's menu is trans-fat free and the restaurant's cooking oil is recycled into biodiesel to fuel UC busses. Reservations are accepted on weekdays before 3pm.
