Open since 1975, the Community Children's Center is a play-based day-care with large inside rooms and an outside play area. There are two shifts of attendance for children: 7:30am - 12:30pm and 12:30pm - 5:30pm. Run by Director Lisa Dahn, the CCC is a nonprofit cooperative organization that accepts children aged 18 months to 5 years as full- or part-time students. They also have accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
