Health and healing are my passions - be it physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.  I have a deep commitment and sense of purpose towards creating and contributing to anything related to inspiring, uplifting, and fostering health improvement in the lives of others. 
Professionally, I am the co-owner of True Health Unlimited, LLC. My credentials include both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Connecticut and certifications as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist.  In addition, I worked two years as a dietary supplement advisor and nutrition counselor for a well known supplement company in Connecticut. Between personal training, corrective exercise training, nutrition and dietary supplement counseling, I've worked over 15,000 hours in the field.   In addiition, I am the lead author the Real Food Therapy Guide© and co-author of Y.E.S. – Your Eating Solution© and Fitness True Health Tips© with my wife, Hollie Barnas, Ph.D. Together, we've recently created a new on-line newsletter called on Inspired Living.  The free newsletter sign-up and 3 books are available on the True Health Unlimited, LLC website.
